It's a good thing you aren't our GMSend him to San Jose. Greer will scoop up any of Colorado's feces. Besides Mitts has Sabre roots. Greer can't resist that.
Bag of pucks in return is enough compensation.
Its fine that you might think this, but that doesn't make any of this factual. None of us have a clue how sakic and CMac work together. Stating an opinion as fact doesnt change that this is just a perception of how things work. Sakic could be completely hands on for all we know.Sakic isn't super involved, he's not a micro manager. And I doubt CMac is running to him to seek his approval before he makes a move.
CMac is making the decisions, and they have been mostly poor.
Just a lot of frustration boiling over. It's a good thing you aren't our GM
I understand the frustration, but Mitts should have some value if CMac decides to trade him. Mitts is still young, and probably not a stylistic fit on the Avs and needs change of scenery. He can go to other team and have a good careerJust a lot of frustration boiling over.
Watching Casey (who I supported in the initial trade) go downhill and confirm that the same deficiencies I attributed to the Sabre system, were actually his own, has left me quite cynical.
I wouldn’t go that far. I don’t think the Preds were all that good in this either. The Avs are just not a good team. That’s it. I don’t think Bednar is doing a great job of coaching but no coach would be doing with this roster as it is right now.Brunett owns Bednar. As he has since his Minnesota days. So tired of the same outcomes. Avs outshoot the opponent by a wide margin yet lose due to a hot goaltender.
No 2nd line and beyond offensive scoring. Even with Malinski (Malinski??) the Avs D as a 5th scoring line disappears. Goaltender plays a great game but one team D mistake defeats them.
Lets face it. The Avs game scheme has gotten stale and even mediocre coaches know how to beat it.
