Thought the 4 Nations guys all showed up today. Be huge if Ek gets back to being Ek

Had a bit of a hockey hangover in the first.

Also, how skilled is Hinostroza? For a waiver wire guy, he seems very confident with the puck. Been a nice add
 
All right. 1-3 when I came back, then 3 straight goals and a W. Just so you know..

It feels good with a comeback win on the road.
Star of the game Rossi with 1+1
Boldy also 1+1
MoJo 2 assist and Virus with the first Wild goal.
See you all tuesday vs Detroit again.

Well that 3rd period was the piece of cake I'm talkin about. It's worth more than a f***ing marketing event with exebition games.

First two periods wild've looked a bit rusty but I guess its normal after that long break. Virus is a keeper, waive Hartmann.

Story of the wilds season so far: You can throw anything at them (injuries, suspensions, leads of the oponents late in the game, vad refs) they still find a way to get a point or the win.

I know Rossi bobbled the puck, but his ability to slow down and tap the puck in was pretty impressive, even in slo mo. The more confident he gets, the more he seems able to make plays and get on the score sheet. He doesn't have the slick hands of a Koane, or even Boldy, and doesn't have a cannon of a shot, but he just has a knack for getting points.

Great win. This Hinostroza run probably won't continue, but man it is nice to see a callup/waiver/fringe player contribute.

Virus only needs to be better than Hartman.... not a tall task.

Yep, my comment was an L in the end. The 4 Nations is still way better than the all star game.

That 3rd period/overtime was really exciting and your guy got the OT winner! :)
 
Let's not forget Ek, he was VG today. Faceoffs 63%, 5 shots, 2 hits and he stole the puck off the Detroit player on the OT winner.
He fed Rossi right on the tape.

No harm done, mate. I agree that 4-nations is better than any ASG, but it's still just a marketing event to create attention for hockey.

Still rather watch hockey at top level (NHL) that matters, even if there are possibly some less exciting periods/games. That 3rd period was a perfect example what's the difference between exebition hockey on a marketing event and an NHL game between two teams who need points to make playoffs.

Rossi with 1G 1A and OT game winner is the cherry on top, trade him while his value is high - he still hasn't grown an inch that break, unacceptable:sarcasm:

Whish Marco Kasper would have scored one of those wings goals tonight, but you can't have everything I guess.

Just noticed game was early....dammerall anyway. Was all excited to watch tonight. Was gonna start having a few so the sarcasm would have been at peak level...Guess not!

And just don't dog MOJO, you gotta remember that after a long layoff, it only takes him 50-60 games to get going again!
