Lol. Team beats two trash teams at home mainly because the goalie goes white hot and doesn't allow a goal.

Forgets to mention that the team is basically under .500 since the new year and can't find even the slightest amount of consistency in play or effort.

This team is mid to bad and we are frustrated with these up and down horseshit performances. They played 1 good period last night didn't get the lead and then gave up. They generated little to nothing after the first period it was pathetic.

Yes, this team is inconsistent this year. They also outplayed teams in games they lost recently. I'm not sure what you're expecting? Dominance every game? Teams know exactly how to beat the Avs - good defensive structure, layered defense, and opportunistic offense. MacKinnon and co get frustrated. We know this. I also know they are human beings and will have off nights. Would I love fewer off night - sure! If they're also off in the next two games, I'll be concerned. One game though? Not worried.

Also, I for one would rather this team peak in several months rather than in the middle of the season. They don't really need to be consistently dominant now - they need to do that in the playoffs.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re going through these terrible life events. I hope you can be strong for the children and continue to be a role model for them moving forward.

God has a plan, even though we don’t always see it right away.

Take care, brother.

Tough stuff. This is exactly why marriage should be illegal.

Wish you the best

Thanks for the kind words. In the end things will be OK. It's just a storm to get through. Go Avs!

Man. I’m so frustrated with this shit. Nuke completely f***ing over the team two years in a row and then missing most of this year. Landy feels like a dark cloud hanging over the team (yah I know. He’s not coming back, but then f***ing admit it and let the god damn team move on). The never ending 2c search (the current attempt costing us our best trade asset). Having six million dollars between 2 players on our third line that are completely useless.

I’m trying really really really hard to enjoy watching the games, but I just can’t right now. It’s infuriating.

I think this year the plan has always been to keep Landy on LTIR until playoffs so they can make other moves, and I think Landy will come back in postseason

For a team that had Cup thoughts to begin the year, I expect the ability to perform consistently. Not win one, lose one hockey.

They should be able to go on some winning streaks, something they simply haven't done. And they don't do it because they can't even remotely be bothered to compete hard on a night to night basis.

They got smoked last night, wouldn't be shocked to watch us smoke Calgary, then get smoked by Edmonton with another shit effort. That's just how this team operates.
