Like I said yesterday, I actually think these two new guys could be a great fit, and work out really well for us. That being said, it kind of doesn't take away from the disappointment of losing one of my favorites over the last decade, in Rants, who was such an important piece of out machine.

I'm really sad. But I also think it was the right move. Sometimes things just suck.

Pretty much a bad defensive game by everybody other than the 2nd line and Josh Manson.

I’ve never seen a line like Makar’s on this card. Absolutely elite offensively, ridiculously bad defensively.

Fourgiev nearly killed my care for this season. I dont think theres been a player thats done that not even Ryan Graves.

The Avs top line and top pair today said "f*** it, we'll win 10-9 if we have to" with their all-out offense.

I started laughing so hard watching the highlights of Borgen's goal. Just watch MacKinnon. We don't even have the puck and he leaves Reilly Smith to start crossing over for a potential rush breakout.

Chance to see replay highlights. Did not see the apparently mystical Makar penalty, but the moment he exited the box and ensuing 10 seconds ending with Lecky... I mean God Damn. Gobsmacked.

And, watched game replay. Rehashed to smithereens but ffs, and not one to ref complain but that was a horse poopy extraordinaire call. I now believe in karma.. 100% karmic reward for Makar.

I never really disliked Guenin. He arrived when the team was young and had no identity. They werent cup contenders or anything so it was meh with him and Benoit. I hated Zanon way more than Guenin.

Josh Manson has realized that making bad decisions in the offensive zone to allow breakaways for Girard to try and stop shows in the report only as bad offensive play. He is onto something

I literally stopped watching/playing hockey for a few years I was so upset

Same, I was there with my Grandma and really tried to get us to sell our tickets beforehand but she insisted we go, then later insisted we stay throughout the whole thing lol.
