Like I said yesterday, I actually think these two new guys could be a great fit, and work out really well for us. That being said, it kind of doesn't take away from the disappointment of losing one of my favorites over the last decade, in Rants, who was such an important piece of out machine.

Keep your negativity isolated to one thread. It's just unsettling lol.

Love ya mate 💙

Trying to drag us down huh?

Avs need to fix the defense badly, we can't go on with Middleton, Malinski, and CDH on the bottom pairing. The forwards need to be more responsible defensively but it will help when Nuke comes back.

That said, the most encouraging things I saw from what I saw of the game is the PP looking lethal again (probably the most lethal it's been in a couple years, and yes I know its only one game) and the 2nd line starting to pick it up. Mitts has looked more sharp, the past 2 games is the best Parssinen has looked since he's gotten here, and Lehk is the clutch Finnisher as usual. I also think Drury looks like the answer for the 3C spot and Necas was dangerous all game (the man could have had a hatty with a little more luck).

Not a perfect game but very encouraging.
