what about middleton? He's our most important d-men atm. Also Bogo has played good the past couple if weeks. It'd be hard to sit them, we need Bogos toughness imo.If Buium is ready next year I could see
Faber-Buium
Spurgy-Mids
Jiricek-Brodin

Oh no, Carlsberg. We have them over here too. It's horrible, but please enjoy itWhat a great game, Hynes making some really good changes in the lines was very successful.
Nice to see Jiříček doing that awesome move on Treniyawn's goal. And Öhgren getting a couple of apples. The kids gonna be alright, I guess.
Time to celebrate with a couple of really good beers. You should try to get your hands on a case of these, I'm sure your local liquor store can help you out to where to find them. Have a good day, folks.

I've had that. Not bad. I'm more of a dark beer kinda guy. My fav all time is probably Newcastle. That'd probably be my go-to and thankfully, it's available around the area semi frequently. What a great game, Hynes making some really good changes in the lines was very successful.

Didn't there used to be a beer called Toby?I've had that. Not bad. I'm more of a dark beer kinda guy. My fav all time is probably Newcastle. That'd probably be my go-to and thankfully, it's available around the area semi frequently.
If there is/was, guess I'd not heard of it. [Post write up edit]: I looked. Does appear so. Wasn't something I'd ever seen or tried though. We used to live right by a pretty large MGM in Blaine back in the 90's. Even back then, they had a shockingly large, varied beer selection. So every weekend I'd pick up a 6 pack, sometimes two, of different beers. Sometimes it was just a one off bottle of something. They were great at recommending stuff as well. Well...until the Samischlaus incident anyway. But, I would always save one of the bottles of each I'd try. Think by the time I quit, I had like 150+ bottles of different stuff. The other worst beer, other than the Samischlaus was this gawd awful Sam Adam's Triple Bock. Think I got 2 sips into it and about puked.Didn't there used to be a beer called Toby?
Well, this would be over 40 years ago, in Canada. Wasn't sure if it made it down here. The Brits i knew would drink that... was sort of a more refined Guiness. If there is/was, guess I'd not heard of it. [Post write up edit]: I looked. Does appear so. I love Guinness. But, it's drink 1, maybe 2 and that's it. It's not a long night at the bar kind of beer for me. Just a bit too thick for that. If I'm just having 1-2, then Guinness is my #1. Nectar of the Gods. Whereas, Newcastle, it's got the flavor depth, but it's not a heavy beer. Great stuff though.Well, this would be over 40 years ago, in Canada. Wasn't sure if it made it down here. I can't see them benching Bogo. Need his size and strength against certain teams. Maybe a rotation of him, Chisholm, and Jiricek, though i think it's more likely that Jiricek gets sent down to play top minutes in iowa, with a few words of praise in his ear. They want him playing. When Brodin & Spurgeon are back, I think you roll with these pairs:
Middleton - Faber
Brodin - Jiricek
Chisholm - Spurgeon
I love tomato juice and beer. Preferably a nice Busch lite. Little salt and pepper and a dash of Worcestershire
Jiricek is a large kid too though. Obviously you’re not expecting him to be as comfortable with using that size like Bogosian, but he’s an offensive upgrade on Bogosian. If Jiricek strings together a couple games like this, I’d have a really tough time taking him out of the lineup.I can't see them benching Bogo. Need his size and strength against certain teams. I don't think it's the worst thing to give Brodin and Spurgeon the odd rest day, especially if they are playing a weak opponent. Rest tends to prevent injuries. Let's get 'em healthy to the playoffs, for once.
It’s not a Bloody Mary , it’s a bloody beer. No ice and you’d add 3oz of tomato to a can of beer. Preferably drank in one shot. It’s an eye opener for the mornings that are a bit rough lolI'm an American same as anyone here (except the non-Americans), but ruining a perfectly good Bloody Mary with beer is a line too far
One import that I did like (only had it once) is Harp. Local liquor store can’t get it for me. But I like that one. What a great game, Hynes making some really good changes in the lines was very successful.

Doubt there is room for Heidt, same with crease-clearing DFD that I agree we need.fantastic effort wild boyz! both ohgren and jiricek were very close to scoring. i read the avs board before the game and they all thought they would crush us. im so amped for next season. jiricek spends the summer learning to skate better; yurov joins the wild. ohgren is comfortable and heidt gets a 3rd line shot. assuming we still have a 2nd rnd pick i'd go for the biggest, meanest crease clearing D man who can skate. we're set!
I reluctantly agree. I’ve grown to really like Chisholm and would hate to part with him. But if Spurgeon and Brodin can come back healthy and you have Buium and Jiricek, is he needed next year? He’s gonna cost you a little money next year versus someone on an ELC, so trading him for a pick is probably the smart play, but I’m not gonna like it. There will be more than one team out there willing to give you something for him.Chisholm is just the odd man out but I think with his play, age and low cap hit, we might be able to squeeze out a high 2nd round pick.
I don’t think it will be Trenin. Hartman, or maybe Freddy? It is a really interesting question.Chisholm is just the odd man out but I think with his play, age and low cap hit, we might be able to squeeze out a high 2nd round pick.
Wondering which forward needs to be phased out when Ohgren/Yurov + FA makes the roster. Hopefully Trenin...
Do you like Guinness as well? If so, you should try a Black and Tan. Best of both sides of the Guinness catalogue. One import that I did like (only had it once) is Harp. Local liquor store can’t get it for me. But I like that one.
