I know a couple of people mentioned it briefly but when do the Avs do something about that piece of shit benn who AGAIN waited for a player to have his head down so that he can try and headshot him???? This time it was MacKinnon and it could have been disastrous. It was absolutely deliberate and trying to injure - just like he did with Toews to 'even the odds' in the series.

If it was me - enough is enough at the start of the next game, I send someone after him early - take the major but make sure he doesn't get up. f*** that piece of shit of a human being.

Call up Smith and make him a franchise legend.

Benn will get his punishment when he retires without winning the cup. Besides, Manson already beat him up once

Didn't like that nobody from the Avs went after Benn for that or his blatant nut shot on Cale. League isn't even gonna fine him for it either. Dude just gets away with dirty shit all the time. Has his entire career.

Didn't like no one went after Dumbo for his attempt to knee Rosco either.

Didn't like that none of Makar's teammates helped him to the bench after his injury. Just let him skate and push off his bad foot from the goal line to the bench.

It's the Bednar way. Avoid altercations at all costs.

Is the only camera shot from 130 feet away? It's almost like watching the Zapruder Film.

You cant really retaliate against his teammate. He'll use that. You have to target him.

Only caught this game in spurts, but it looked like a good win. Team was back to playing the way they're capable of.

Nice to see Mitts have a good game. Goalie slides out of the net for him to score, almost like the hockey gods were trying to give him a break. Confidence seems so key to his game. Getting the monkey off the back was crucial for him.

Good line mates for Mitts too. Drouin takes the playmaking pressure off him and Lehky helps to handle the down low battle so he doesn't have to as much. Plus Lehky just opens up ice for him by distracting the opposition. Then he can just play hockey without overthinking. All three smart hockey players too. Will be interesting to see if they can continue playing well. Consistency is the issue for Mitts.

Blackwood is gonna have to work with Jussi on sealing that short side post better on goal line shots. Seems as though there's a book out there on him with those plays.

Cale rightfully gets a ton of praise for his skill, but he doesn't get enough praise for his competitiveness, toughness, and pride. He never wants to give in ever. We're so lucky to have one of the all time goat's of hockey on our side.
