Vegas broadcast: "Kolesar tried to protect him..." "...Gustavsson played the puck in the corner, putting Jiricek in an awkward positon..."

Not an ounce of blame on their guy for what was an obvious hit from behind into the boards. Figures.
It's Vegas. What do you expect?

I don’t think Gus put Jiricek in the greatest position, also don’t think Kolesar had much of an option but jumping on his back probably not it, he accepted what he did and answered the bell his first shift out. Thats hockey, IMO.

Very classy to display a tribute to a goalie they unceremoniously shitcanned just a few years back, without even notifying him first.

Just a question: What's that Waltz topic y'all are talking about? Is this a running gag?
Not that Walz doesn’t make some good observations.
But, he takes way too much time to say it. Guy has the best pair of lungs ever. Can talk for 2 minutes straight without stopping for a breath. Just needs to simplify things and he’d be much better.
And don’t forget “Back in my day”, and all the nicknames….

So our defense is…

Middleton - Chisholm
Bogosian - Merrill
Dermott - Jiricek (just injured)

That’s pretty terrible, lol.

I tend to have the pre game and often times the games on mute and just watch while I'm playing guitar. But, have they made any mention as to how long Kaprizov, Faber, Spurgeon and Brodin are out or what the timeframes are to get any of them back?

He's the kind of guy that takes the wrong turn at albuquerque on purpose.

I think I heard LaPanta say that they could be back once Walz stops talking and takes a breath, but that could still be another 6 to 8 weeks….
