GDT: G43: Wild @ Sharks | 9PM

Another tough game coming with all the injuries. Let's hope we can see more good signs from Jiricek and co.

At least we work hard, so there's that. D's looking pretty damn rough though.

Just did some maths (gasp!)

Presuming our roster is same as vs. Avs, the cap hit of our team is... $49,156,667. That's nearly $16m below the cap floor - $15,843,333 to be exact. And that's accounting for the likes of Trenin and Hartman making a combined $7,5m, and if you add Foligno to the mix, the numbers drastic go down up.

There are disadvantages, and then there's scrubs like L'Heureux and Neighbours taking out our guys and seriously impacting our season without any form of serious punishment. 3 games for a potentially career-ending double slew foot to a player in a very vulnerable position, and not even a notice from the league after an elbow to the head is nothing short of a disgrace.

We need to steal wins however we can, points even. Going to really need Gus to play a lot better than he has recently. I think the Avs shorthanded is a different challenge than the Sharks with how much speed and skill the Avs have.

Basically we need to beat sharks any way possible and then just forfeit the game to the knights somehow cause we ain’t getting anything but more injuries there.

Need to have this one with a tough schedule coming up. Excited to see Jiricek again. Was pleasantly surprised last game.

Looks like Travis Dermott gets promoted to second pair D with Chisholm, and Merrill gets demoted to third pair, playing with Jiříček.

Well this should be a competitive game, our D and theirs are about the same caliber at the moment. Celebrini is going to be difficult to contain with this group unless our forwards are really on the ball too. Big games needed from JEE and Boldy here, I think their best would make the difference in a Wild win.

Merril and Jiricek would get clowned by a typical highschool teams forwards when it comes to their ability to skate

Isn't this kinda overstatement? I would agree with you if you have said AHL forwards but high school teams? Come on....

Looks like Fleury is starting. I would have put Gus in to give them the best chance to win tonight as opposed to how much tougher it'll be against Vegas.

Chief Zucc & kids should be able to beat the Sharks despite the weak blueline.
Chief Zucc was the most worthless player on the ice by a wide margin last game so he’s gonna need to wind back the clock about 5 years , move his feet for once and quit trying to sling YOLO cross ice passes to nobody but defenders. Capiche???
