Why does Rossi get an assist on that? The play went Rossi to Zuccarello to Kaprizov to Zucarrello. Aren't the final 2 passes Zuccarello and Kaprizov? I was actually going to come on here and say assists should have some judgement to them and Rossi should get a secondary assist on that. OR why can't a player get 2 points on a play if they both make the pass and score the goal. Might make more players willing to be good passers

Chisholm is a major find. He is a player. I would love to get Middleton back and get Bogosian out of the lineup. I haven't really seen the new guy but his line has been out there during some bad stretches.

Agreed. I think Faber is way better than Spurgeon on the PP. Spurgeon just stands still and makes the obvious pass.

I agree but Spurgs still is the captain. Kap's still not as dominant as he could be but that goal-sequence was genius. Normally I'd complain about too many passes but when it works out like that it's just art. But you can't always look for the fancy play.

I don’t have a problem with the obvious passes necessarily. More the lack of mobility compared to Faber

Faber should definitely be on the PP. In all honestly, Chisholm is better than Spurgeon as well. Both are more mobile and more creative with creating lanes and moving the puck in more creative ways.

I was also thinking it may be a load management decision.
