Agreed. We carried play most of the game. Their G was better, they scored a PP, we didnt.

And that's not a knock on MAF. Wasn't a terrible game from him at all

Agreed, not too worried about this one. Just means you have to pick up points when you can because games like this happen. I liked what I saw first the 3rd line I think there's something with that. The second line needs some pop. I'm not 100% sure what to do there, I think Ek is part of the answer--whether that's him on the first line or Rossi. I still might try Zucc with Boldy with the idea of pairing 2 and 2 "scoring" players. Maybe Boldy shouldn't need it but I think he does.

Continue to be excited by Chisholm's progress as a player along with what we were seeing from Middleton. Puts the Wild in a great spot with Buium and Jirecek not too far off.

If it's possible I'd try Ohgren on the 2nd line as long as Ek is still out. He's built some confidence down there at Iowa. I'd try:

Kaprizov - Rossi - Johansson
Boldy - Ohgren - Zucc
Foligno - Freddy - Khus
Too - many - injuries
