Boldy takes another trip to the penalty box.

He sat there for 35 seconds this time.
Flower swimming all over the place. Somebody tell him the pond is frozen.

I wonder what's up with Hartman. 13 straight games without a point.
He's barely a NHL player right now. Doesn't win pucks or make smart plays, mediocre passer, and can't score of contribute much of anything offensively. Seems weaker and slower this year, also.

Knut hit Boqvist with a clean hit, but he went head first into the glass by the end of the bench. Dropped his helmet and his head hit the ice.
No penalty on the play. Hope he's alright, that didn't look too comfortable.

He used to play with an edge. Now he's just playing the victim.

I don't think even Emma or Pitbull could help these guys tonight.
Have you tried the Ketchup voodoo doll?

I just couldn't get into the game. Fell asleep.

Miss Ek and Middleton.
No Ek, Middleton or Gus? To me I don't care what you do you're not going to keep up with a solid team like Florida. The bigger body grittier players like Ek and Mids are key. Need a few more like that.

merrill seems to be way out of position or responsible for just about every goal it seems

I've taken Middleton for granted. He's been really good this year, and losing him hurts pretty bad.

Faber took a shot to the face and Cats score 6-1.
Losing Middletoe was a hard blow, he's been very good this year.

Well. That was gross.

Anyone know the timeframe before Ek & Middleteeth come back? Because...it's clearly going to be pretty rough until that happens.

I just want to say, the NHL is really making it more and more difficult to be a fan. Tonight's game was listed on the team calendar as a national broadcast game that could be watched on TNT, no mention of crappy FDSN like every other game... yet could not be watched locally on TNT because supposedly it wasn't a national exclusive, so FDSN was also showing the game, and thus screws over those who rely on actual national broadcasts these days due to the inaccessibility of the failing RSNs.

the Wild are a one line team at the moment. Everyone has gone ice cold outside of Kap and Rossi and both are quite easy to shut down if they are the only threat on the team. Can't really complain too much about Johansson either, but he will not drive a line. Boldy really needs to get going and drive play on that second line. Hartman is a shell of his former self at the moment, it is almost comical how ineffective he is. However it all starts and ends with the defense not getting the breakouts done. There are too many passengers on the blueline and it starts to show with Middleton out and before that Brodin. Not even talking defense but the lack of mobility and passing skills is apparent. They cannot move the puck effectively against a good high forecheck.

And yeah that was not a good game by Fleury. All the highlight reel saves he makes are because he cannot play a positionally sound game anymore. He is just in constant emergency mode.

I think we need to trade Rossi , he just doesn’t have that sandpaper that winning hockey requires.

that's right, exemplified very well by his goal last night.

I do not get this sentiment. He plays (well) in plenty of the dirty areas. There is legit criticism to be made when it comes to his ability to go 1 on 1 or his performance in the FO circle which can be improved. But I don't get this "lacking sandpaper" schtick when that is half of his game. Digging up pucks for the other 4 guys on the ice to do something with. He battles on the boards, he battles in front of the net. Please explain in what area of his game you see sandpaper missing.
