Hopefully Brodin doesn't get re-injured by the formidable VGK forecheck. As good as Middleton has been this year, it sure is nice to see Brodin back. His ability to retrieve pucks and get them out of the D zone quickly is elite.I think with Brodin and Zucc back this will be different than the Oilers game.
We have the best defensive team in the NHL. Trenin & Foligno have been good to great defensively. Disingenuous to focus only on their offense. Foligno isn’t overpaid at all, and Trenin is but only by like $1-2M. They also have made us way harder to play against, which actually does matter, and will matter more in the playoffs. They played later and had to travel. I don't expect much, but just crush them please.
Hartman - 7 points, making 4 millions
Treniyawn - 3 points, making 4 millions
Foligno - 11 points, making 4 millions

I would have to think Gus, since MAF played yesterday. Was he possibly injured, which led to the struggles during the Oilers game?Wallstedt called up under emergency conditions. Anyone know what happened? Hopefully Gus is okay.
Goalie Jesper Wallstedt was recalled under emergency conditions, so it’s unclear if he could even start against Vegas and something is wrong with Filip Gustavsson. He did back up Fleury on Saturday and Fleury showed no signs of illness or injury after the game.
