Eh, he's had flashes of decent play so far. He's trying on bursts, just not constantly. I see his mistakes and that skating as much as the next fella, but I still think he passes the "NHL quality" check. Just not the "3.5m/year" check. At a million or even one-and-a-half on the 4th line? Wouldn't be so bad.

That said, he needs to go from part-time effort to full-time effort and find a way to bring consistency into his game. It's about the D and I get it, supposed to be a bit of a PK specialist and all that, but it just looks like he's not quite himself out there either. Goal would help a lot just mentally.
