Hmmmm. I'm not a lady, nor am I particularly good looking. Is there a market for a middle aged, slightly doughy, white guy doing 'dances"?

Sounds like you’d have a chance….
You never mentioned balding/receding hairline, and you used slightly doughy instead of maximum density like I would have to……

@Kshahdoo my friend, can you help us out? Is Trenin actually pronounced Trenyen?

I'm not him, but in case he doesn't respond, I'll offer my thoughts based on the non-native Russian I know

There are certain vowels in the Russian alphabet that do have a 'y' sound before them:

Е = ye (as in yes) (this is the one Lapanta seems to be using)
Ё = yo
Ю = yu
Я = ya

Trenin is spelled 'Тренин' in Russian

Н = n
И = ee

Russian is a pretty phonetic alphabet, there aren't a lot of weird pronunciations, what you see is mostly what you get

So given that, my understanding is it should be closer to Tren-een, but the 'И' is also technically their 'i', so it's translated as Trenin, which makes it the 'in' sound we know, but there still shouldn't be a 'y' sound in there

But I'll wait for Kshadoo, he definitely knows something I don't about the Russian language

Oh, all for naught, he already replied
