As a recent Cup winner, did you guys care about games the next season? I.e Florida just shit the bed against Chicago and prior to last year I would have been stewing on it for a whole day but now it's like oh well. Am I just dead inside?

After spending 20 years being mediocre-ass, underachieving bums, and one season setting a historically low record, and then our boys finally reach the summit a few years later, it's an afterglow that definitely lasts the entirety of the next season, yeah. When times are tough you just think, "Well, who cares, we just got our ring," so I wouldn't say you're dead inside or anything. I felt the same way post-2001, well, until Detroit bent us over in Game 7 in 2002 and suddenly all my warm afterglow feelings went into thin air, Lmao... Then it was 20 (literally) years of just being increasingly exasperated at how much we sucked.
