Wild on the road against the Oilers? Surprisingly good record so far. Ya, let's check that out.

Thoroughly impressed. Team play, puck support, crisp passing. They never gave up on a play.

Was that a typical game for this season?

Hynes has been fired twice, both times to the delight of the fans, but that Wild team I watched tonight is clearly well coached. Comments on Hynes performance thus far? He's got to be an Adams contender at this point.

Faber’s emergence last season coincided with Spurgeon being out for the whole year and obscured the fact that when healthy, this blueline is capable of great things. Having Brodin-Spurgeon & Middleton-Faber on the ice for 75% of the game is a huge advantage.

I like Hynes. He’s steady and seems to know how to get the right line combinations. Not as stubborn as Evason was.

Typical Wild game against the Oilers. We just own them for whatever reason.

In all seriousness though, they’ve been a very defensively sound team the entire season. Fleury was in tonight, but Gus has been a wall for us in net for most games this year.

Kaprizov carried a lot of the early season offense & has been a beast the entire season. We’ve also got great top 6 talents in Ek/Boldy/Rossi & Zucc was solid before he busted a nut.

Our depth scoring has started to pick it up too after being mostly nonexistent for the first half of the season.

Thanks, guys.

It's quite impressive that a team without any "big stars", apart from the obvious exception of Kaprizov, and to a lesser extent Boldy, is excelling 1/4 of the way through the season.

I'll be watching a lot more.

Wondering about Rossi - didn't get all that much ice time, but looked dangerous every time he was out there. Why isn't he on PP1? Is Hynes bringing him along (too) slowly?

And congrats on beating the Oilers. Always a fun result.
