He’s always fumbled passes. That’s nothing new he’s a shooter. He might not be a MVP level but he’s still above average NHL player. Clearly I think the decline might be overstated.

But now the problem is his legs can't make up for it. A fumbled pass now is a loss in possession rather than a minor inconvenience.

Makes me very sad to watch him pass to nobody…fumble, etc….

Yeah I'm not laughing with joy or spite or anything. It's more laughing in disbelief at how much of a drop off there has been since last season.

And if he can't turn this around I really don't know how he can play for this and two more seasons. I know the haters on the mains say he'll play until he gets the record no matter how long it takes but I think pride and his fiercely competitive nature will have a say in it. He could walk away before it gets too bad.
