I don't know if our Euro brethren are setting their alarms early, or taking these game times as an excuse to drink/eat all night, watch hockey, and call in sick.

if I would get up in the night that time (4am local) is actually easier to catch than the usual start time. I used to do that when Vanek was breaking into the league but these days NHL.TV has me covered with the replay feature. Can skip all intermissions and breaks as well.

I used to watch Overwatch League pretty early on weekends. Usually a 3am start for my Shanghai Dragons. I kinda miss those days (OWL doesn’t exist anymore). There is no chance I would do that if I had to work at 8am though lol

I don't work fridays anymore starting yesterday, then from december and forward I don't work at all until late april. We have time bank at work, and I work so much during offseason that I can afford to take the time off during the winter months. This suits me perfectly because I don't need as much sleep as I did when I was young. So no summer vacation for me, and long working days fills up my time bank so that it covers the months that I stay at home. I have the best boss in the world, and we have 2-3 times more to do in the spring/summer than in winter.

If the games are early I usually sleep after work and get up to watch, then sleep a couple of hours after. If there's a will, there's a way!

Let's go duckhunting!
