Well I'm having a tough time answering that because I still have no clue why he was given the contract he was. His play clearly didn't merit all 14M, so how much of it was because he's 1) big, 2) Russian? Because technically speaking he is still those things

Hard to argue any of that. Have to be honest, I haven't been super engaged in the games yet this season. Usually doing 2-3 other things while it's going on the TV. He was brought in as mostly a PK specialist if I'm not correct. Has he at least helped that at all?

I don't think he's even one of the top four PKer F's on the roster right now. He's not been all that strong defensively by my eye test. Not a liability defensively, just not all that good either.
