After Kaprizov went to the locker room to fix his lip the Wild's game really completely fell apart. And even before that the PP was clueless on how to handle the pressure by the Kings. First real stinker of a game this season. Going to be interesting how they will respond in the next games.

Time to move Mojo off the 2nd line. He’s not adding anything there. I think Hartman deserves Top 6 time. I’d slot him in for Zucc and drop Zucc down with Boldy & JEE.

Agreed, though JEE and Boldy aren't creating a lot 5 v 5, either. I don't know that Hartman is the guy for that line.

I think that JEE should move up with Kap and Zucc, Rossi down with Boldy and Hartman. Mojo down on the 3rd, or 4th....I don't really care.

Man, Trenin is a zero, for me. I keep hearing about how good his analytics are, but his play sure doesn't match my eye test. He has one point in 12gp. Duhaime has 4 in 11 gp, and costs half as much.

There are two good players on that line, and one guy who is just on the ice, and Mojo is that third guy. He isn't bringing anything to that line right now, he needs to get moved off it.

Now that the 5v5 scoring has dried up for that line as well, it seems obvious he should get moved off of it in the hopes of sparking something with a new addition to the line.

We dominated the first part of the game territorially, but weren't getting great chances. LA defended well. Our small guys couldn't get inside to get rebounds or deflect pucks, and our big guys didn't.
Kind of scary how dependent we are on Kap to have even a pulse, offensively.

I think that’s the spot where Guerin will look to upgrade. It’s asking a lot for Yurov step right in this spring to provide a solution to the Top 6. A Granlund or Rakell type player makes sense for us between now and the deadline, provided we don’t fall apart.

The bad thing about our forwards is that Zucc is a PP merchant at this point and Mojo is not effective in a bottom 6 role. Creates issues with roster building.

Good as Kap has been, he will slow down if we keep him with Zucc all year because Zucc offers no help without the puck. We see that every year

Can we load up the top line and get enough from Rossi & Hartman to have a decent 2nd line? I wouldn’t mind seeing

Well, it’s one thing to be without your best player. It’s another thing to lose your best player mid-game.
