Nikitin is just in his 18 year old season, and without having seen him play I'd imagine he's a very raw prospect, coming over from Kazakhstan. I'd imagine he'll play a minimum of one more season in Junior A, maybe even an overage season before college.

Looks to still be NCAA eligible and EliteProspects (not always reliable) has him going back to Kazakhstan to play in the MHL.
