Under contract from an asset value perspective is better than not under contract. He was a high pick for a goalie.

I still kinda hope that he finds a home with an SHL team next year and doesn't come over until 26/27....as I'm not sure I like the idea of UPL/Levi in Buffalo and Ratzlaff/Leinonen in Rochester.
Levi shouldn’t be in Buffalo next year, and there’s no reason to believe Reimer would clear waivers this time around.Buf: UPL&Levi
Roc: Reimer&Leinonen
Jac: Houser&Ratzlaff

Let Levi go through the AHL playoffs and see where he stands. His later stints in Buffalo have been poor.why is UPL even aheadd of him on the depth chart at this point lol? Did Buffalo run out of traffic cones available?

If UPL is going to struggle into next season you may have to sign a 1B keeper for 1-2 years, thats not Reimer or any of the kids.
