With Niklas Svedberg signing an NHL deal soon, shouldn't be too far-fetched to expect Dansk slowly being brought into the SEL this season, either.

Just don't think he will leave Sweden to come to the CHL. He already went back home to work with the great Swedish coach.

I have him as the best goaltender too...

Oscar Dansk

Oscar Dansk is leaving to play in the CHL next year.

Any ideas on which team might be interested i adding one of the best young goallies of his draftclass? Or is there a possibility that he'll go straight to the AHL (depending on which team drafts him)?

I could see a team like London being interested in him. They will have a very strong team next year and are losing their starting goalie. they traded up to 9th in the import draft a little while ago.

London will be taking him.

Man, I really hope London takes him in the Import draft. Than I really, really hope Chicago takes him in the NHL draft.

It'd be really nice to see a couple Hawk prospects play in London next year in Broadhurst and (hopefully) Dansk.

But it says that he and Brynäs already knew he was going to CHL, but he didn't want to say any before Brynäs had

This, he wanted to wait until Brynäs made the announcement that he was leaving. Perhaps he should have said: "we're in negotiations and that's all I'll say on the matter" but young players will make those kind of mistakes.

Just for clarification, because he's being drafted out of the SEL he's eligible for the AHL after one season even if he decides to go the CHL right?

Yes.

If he already knew that, you don't comment at all.
In this case, refer to Brynäs.

But saying, i'll sign with team xxx and not yyy.
And then 2 days later say i'm going to sign with team yyy.
That's looks pretty bad..

Who knows what's true, he's lied at least once.. maybe the CHL is his next lie.. i'm signing with a KHL team might be his new thing tomorrow.

I just think it's unprofessional.

It might seem unprofessional, but it´s what a lot of European young players seem to do when it comes to the CHL import draft, changing what they say to the media all the time. A part of it can be attributed to them considering and reconsidering such a radical change in their lives of course.

He's like 18.... Give the KID a break...

If he'd accidently said something which was true, i'd be fine with it. He's a kid and not used to the media and if he let it slip.. ok..
But he, when asked about it, says i'm not going to CHL. Which turns out to be exactly what he's doing, that's a thought out lie.

Well, I work with a team in the league, and the rumours where out there two weeks ago.

I didnt make comment until I saw an independent secondary source here

I probably waited longer then most journalists would, but I think its fair to say its happening now.
He just put them over the top... Unfair, can't wait for Friday night hockey on Sportsnet...
