Senior Mathieu Caron played both games for the first-place Terriers this past weekend. Top of Hockey East is very tight. Will be interesting to see if Yegorov plays at all.

I was watching some of his Omaha games recently (games from before he left to BU).

He lets too many goals in through his body. He still has to work on some of the technical aspects of the position, but he’s huge, moves well, and tracks the puck well. It looks like it’s impossible to score on him sometimes.

I think his start at BU is unsustainable (obviously), but his Omaha stats were probably underplaying him also. They were that bad and they definitely weren’t an optimal place to make year to year progression in rounding out all that talent into a future NHL goaltender.
