He's dominating in the AHL so far this season. Best thing for him is to stay away from the Arizona and play the whole year in the minors.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a few games now and then due to injuries. He's 23, will be 24 in March and has been playing in the AHL since 2019-20 so he's accustomed to the American style of play.

He's only on a one year contract. The Coyotes will call him up to test him once again sooner or later on this season.

Watched Ivan many times in Saginaw and he always needed the TOI to get in a groove. Seeing more ice in the AHL would give him the experience and development at 23, patience with prospects is key is an understatement.
