Looks like PG put his game back on track along with Kamloops. Hope it keeps up, actually I would prefer Ferguson gets traded but this will do.

Stopped 40 of 42 shots tonight I believe.

Emergency call-up so not ideal. Not too familiar with the rules here. Is there a set time frame on how long he could stay up, or is it just until another goalie comes off the IR?

Honestly, I might even give him the chance to start over Lagace. Lagace isn't even a good AHL goalie.

Looking like he might start in Vancouver.

So the ongoing laugh in Vancouver is that we bring out the best in slumping or unfortunate goalies. This is going to be interesting. Isn't Subban ready to come back in though?

This is one hell of an opportunity for Ferguson though. Dude gets drafted in the 7th round, traded and is now playing in the NHL in his draft+1 year. Experience of a life time.

Good luck to the lad, can only benefit him in the long run. Will certainly give him some confidence that Vegas haven’t gone after another goalie.

I really hope he plays tonight.. Sounds as though his time with LV will be coming to an end soon with Subban close to returning, so what a great story it would be playing in Vancouver for his first start

Starting this kid seems like it could be a great PR move for a young franchise that's trying to make a name for itself. I'd be a lot more inclined to tune into the game if he started. Besides, it's not like Lagace is a much better option...

Won his first two games back with Kamloops with .920 and .926 save percentages, giving up 2 goals in each game. Looks like the NHL experience has dome him some good.

I wouldnt doubt if he is traded this season to a contender. Kamloops needs to build major assets in prepartion of most likely hosting Memorial Cup in a couple years.

Ferguson, Loewen, Pilon and maybe Vala will most likely be dealt and Kamloops will get alot of young assets back.

It would amazing if he got moved to Portland. That team would go far, like the others, but I really like what Portland is doing.

I was just thinking, even though it's a technicality, who is the last 7th rounder who played in the NHL in his draft +1 year? Especially as a goalie. Aside from overagers, I don't think it has ever happened in the modern NHL.

Seems to have recovered very well from his atrocious start. After losing his first 7 games of the season, he has now won 5 in a row (and 8 of his last 10) posting a save % of .922 in those 5 games.

Didn't think this was worth it's own thread in the NHL forums because nobody would care, but I randomly started wondering just now who had the lowest sv% in NHL history and if anyone gave up a goal without making a save which would obviously be a .000 sv%. Turns out Ferguson with 1 goal against and 1 save and his .500 sv% is actually the lowest in history. I thought it would be lower than that(some guy with a .000 or someone giving up 2 goals on 3 shots or something). Hope he works his way up through the Vegas system and gets a chance to improve on that stat. You never want to be the worst in anything. But hey, I guess being the worst in an NHL stat means you played in the NHL. Though I would say 1 goal on 2 shots is probably better than Timo Pielmeier(2nd worst sv%) who let in 5 goals on 12 shots who was at least 21 during his partial game NHL stint.

Absolutely not trying to rag on the guy, just found it interesting.

3rd best goalie in the WHL after Hart and Kehler imo. Had a nice turnaround from the disastrous Kamloops start/being thrown into the NHL right after his 19th birthday. Still think he'll be a good starter in the NHL one day.

How did this kid ever turn out, after getting to play NHL as an emergency back up? His stats for the AHL (2 games) look alright but his ECHL looks awful (but that league can be a crapshoot for goalies). Anyone brave enough to project?
