Does anybody know why this guy didn't make the NHL Central Scouting list for North American goaltenders?
Currently playing with the Kamloops Blazers (WHL), he was the AJHL Rookie-of-the-Year with Drumheller in 2010-2011. He played lights out for Kamloops this past season and posted incredible numbers while playing in 55 games, more than most goalies on the scouting list.
Games Played: 55
Mins: 3089
GA: 135
Shutouts: 4
GAA: 2.62
Wins: 34
Losses: 11
Svs: 1342
Sv %: 0.909
Yes, he is short, just 5'10, but there are several other goalies (Matthew Morris & Matthias Niederberger) on the list that are the same size and one of these others has a Sv % below .900 (Morris).
Furthermore, Cole Holowenko (Prince Albert) posted almost a 4.00 GAA and an .890 %...how does he make the list while Cheveldave doesn't?
He's 19 now and will be entering his 2nd season with the Blazers next year.
Thoughts?
