Wow that’s the highest I’ve seen Bear I think
I guess that means there's no worries about that achilles injury he had? His skating and movement won't be affected at all?

Hensler or Fiddler would be solid RD adds imoI've come to the conclusion that the best pick for the Sens in this yr's draft would be Blake Fiddler RD. The Sens have their left side set with Sanderson, Chabot & Kleven with Eliasson as insurance. Chabot is only 28 yrs old & could play for another 5 yrs given how good his skating is. On the right side, they will have Yakemchuk, Fiddler & Matinpalo/Zub & might be able to find an upgrade over the next few yrs in free agency or buyouts by other teams. Yak should be an everyday NHL player at some point this season or to start next season & for quite some time while Fiddler might only take a couple of yrs as well. They both already have NHL size & just need time to adjust & learn the NHL game. Fiddler IMO could become that big minute cruncher who plays big minutes in all situations & shuts down other team's best players & could be here for a decade (Ekblad) & should not take that long to be NHL ready, he already possesses most of the tools.
They could use a forward too, but fixing the defence with another good RD IMO is the better move to consider. With Jensen, Perron, Giroux & eventually Zub all potentially leaving over the next few yrs there should be plenty of money to upgrade the forward group given our core is still fairly young & could still be around for another five yrs or so. And there are always a decent player or two around each yr with buyouts & free agency they could acquire to bolster their forward group. They did that with Perron & Amadio, but should be able to afford younger & better players over the next few yrs.
Agreed, but I see Fiddler as a good solid player who will be a fixture on defence for yrs to come & it would stabilized our defence for yrs too. As a few of our players age out they can use that money to replace them in free agency. Our goaltending should be set with Ullmark & Merilainen & our defence could be set with the addition of Yakemchuk & Fiddler on the right side. That would leave the next number of yrs to improve the forward group as some of our guys are aging out.Hensler or Fiddler would be solid RD adds imo
There are some interesting enough forwards in that range as well. Spence or Vansaghi would be good 3rd line types .. and they can swing for some more skill there too. Its like there are a bunch of players available there .. hard to predict. Picking a RD that can defend is still a need.
One of the best skaters in this class
Decent chance of being there at 21. HockeyProspect has him 20. Bob's mid season he was 20. Small, smart, fast, elusive

How would you re-draft the previous #1 overall top 10 picks?

Lee is a right-shot right-winger who stands at 6’0”, 170 lbs after a recent growth spurt. After playing high school hockey in Minnesota, Lee played parts of his last two seasons with the Madison Capitols of the United States Hockey League. Lee was born on Nov. 8, 2006, meaning he’s one of the older first-time draft-eligible prospects.
Few players in the draft can match up to Lee’s highlight reel. He constantly exposes defenders with a myriad of solutions: spin passes, feints, tape-to-tape saucer passes, there seems to be no limit to what Lee can imagine.
Ryker Lee
I think most prefer the younger prospects all things being equal.. that extra year can make a difference at that age imo but its not a hard and fast rule.
Dickinson for example has not even turned 19 yet and Yakemchuk has finished his 19 y/o season in the CHL.
Ryker Lee is a Forward but carry onA right hand shot D man with the last name Lee.
Nothing to worry about right ?!?!
Habs could very well trade up to put themself closer to Desnoyers range. Not that they are the only bullet that Carbonneau would need to dodge for us but good chance they aren't in his rangeThis draft is all over the place pretty much after the 15th pick & even that is not guaranteed as someone always goes off the board. While people will always be happy or unhappy with whoever the Sens pick given how open this draft could be I expect they will still get a good player whoever they select although like others I do have some favourites. Still think they could trade down to acquire another pick.
21st - Fiddler, Spence, Nesbitt, Zonnon, Hensler, Cootes, Kindel ... I doubt Carbonneau gets by the Habs with two picks before us.
Another Mock... Carter Bear was there so had to take him ... the ranking is suspect on FC

Got a skilled C with Bear, 2 book end D RD Barnhill and LD Rombach a decent goalie prospect and two maybe wingers late. Amidoovski will go higher.. Busch as well.
Here are some of my 7th round pick highlights.. boots look a bit heavy ,, but he is a big lad
