If its a goon the Oilers need, I think Deslauriers might be be available.

Ross Johnston too, but I think the ducks want to keep him around as a 13th forward because they have a bunch of kids that need protecting if games start to get chippy

How hard were the young guys the Oilers lost to play against? It’s just not possible to replace that. Young guys provide “juice”, especially on nights when the club needs a boost. Call it mental toughness or functional toughness or hard to play against. The nhl is a young man’s game in this way.
I don’t think the Oilers can replace what they’ve lost very easily. Who do they trade that has enough value to bring back this youth?
