McDavid fired up.
Oil likey back in fi als this year.

Curious....what washed up vets are you referring too?
Usually its guys who have won a cup already but are in the dwindling stages of their career and play now for vet presence and safety in small role

Perry, Joe Toe (on leafs and panthers), Chara in WSH and NYI etc,;

He's always been very firey and emotional.

It's just only with hockey. A lot of outside fans see him off ice and he's just kind of introverted. Even on the ice his face all of a sudden becomes very expressive.

Maybe one of the other Oilers should have screamed at McDavid for not showing up for game seven? It’s “game seven!”
This kind of stuff shouldn’t be out for public consumption.

I don’t think it’s really a remarkable clip in any way personally, but anyone using it as criticism of McDavid needs to grow up.

That said, they still lost game 3.

I’d love to know what was said going into game 4

The same people criticizing him for this clip are the sort of people who say "He only cares about regular season stats and awards". They are just not intelligent enough to have the self-awareness to understand when they contradict themselves.

I wonder if one of the players ripped him a new one after his shoddy Game 7 performance which cost the team a Stanley Cup?

Maybe it's the norm in that locker-room and they just tuned him out? Happens to coaches all the time.
Guaranteed every single player in that room is glad McDavid is on their team. None of them would consider ripping him even if he didn’t get the job done.

Lol, at the same age, MJ had never even made the finals and was considered a showboating choke artist who a team would never win with.

Lmao NBA players spent at least a year in college back then (three in his case), so he was 21 by the time he entered the league not 18.

(there weren't rules like now where you had to be a year removed from college but until the mid 90s there had been precisely two players who went straight to the NBA)
