Really liking Brown, Lewis and Clifford tonight. Also liking what I'm seeing from Ehrhoff. Mersch looks really good around the net. Not sure about Shore, pretty quiet game from him but that looks like his style of hockey. As for Lucic, gotta put up the pre-season disclaimer obviously but so far he's very unimpressive, hate to say it but he's almost Penner-like. Looks out of sync and slow out there, watching the play and not skating hard at all. At least he was physically engaged against the Ducks. Still early though.

He is a frequenter of this forum, and took all of your advice that he shouldn't be scrappy pre-season.

(a little disappointing this game though, to be serious. Still hoping for good things, and willing to give it a good chance)

Good point. Its actually more about putting Lucic somewhere where he can get his sea legs. Preferably with Brown and Shore/Weal. Mersch would probably hit the wall a month or two into the season anyway and that's when you send him back down and move Lucic back up. However, DS isn't responding to my texts.
