GDT: Frozen Four

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Brad Berry got fired after a decade. New coach for Boisvert next year.

Not sure who I like to win it all this year. Its easy to say Denver but I think BC is just too talented.

Our guys in it:

1st round matchup:

Thompson - Denver
vs
Mustard - Providence
Harding - Providence
Kelley - Providence

So we'll lose 1-3 players at the start.

Other Hawks players participating:

Greene - BU
Moore - Minnesota
Rinzel - Minnesota

Minnesota could face either Denver or Providence in the semifinal (frozen four.)
BU could face any of the other teams only in the final.

Did Minnesota fall off a bit? Last time I checked they were neck and neck with Michigan St. and playing very well.
They got bounced by a very meh Notre Dame team in the first round of the Big Ten tournament (in a best of 3, so not even just one unlucky game). But they are still essentially the #5 seed.

Goaltending has been shaky for them recently and is probably their biggest obstacle to making a deep run here

Kinda glad I can just enjoy the tournament this year instead of stressing about getting pumped by arguably the most talented college team ever
