McLellan, Thornton and Marleau have to go, and Couture has to be made captain.
He will stay in San Jose.
Also next year when we meet I hope both teams are 100% injury free.
But, how can you guys, after just watching those 7 games, put blame on Marleau over other Sharks players. There were maybe 3 Sharks better than him
....and I still somehow like your team (save Stoll and Brown) and pretty much all your posters here. Speaks a lot for your group.
Hunt those Ducks, boys.
If it makes you feel any better, I fear the Sharks astronomically more than the Ducks.
That's not my opinion, nor do I believe that many people share this view....the Sharks...have been the older brother to the Kings for 10+ years.
The only difference last night really was Quick came up with the unreal save and Niemi couldn't.
Congrats. I hate your team with a passion but I respect the hell out of their tenacity. Putting injuries and terrible officiating aside, you guys deserved this series. Also, Please don't try to return the courtesy of complimenting the sharks; they all deserve to be tar and feathered. Enjoy the semis. I'm going to go drink myself to sleep (don't judge).
Sharks have great fans on these boards, there's no denying it. I think we all agree it sucks that we had to play each other in the first round.
I had the Sharks in the SCF if they made it past the Kings. How often do two legitimate Stanley Cup contenders meet in the first round?
In the same division? Gonna happen a lot now, me thinks.![]()

I am very pleased the Kings advanced but I took no joy in seeing the sadness on the faces of the Shark players and their fans. I respect the Sharks and would have jumped on their bandwagon if they won the series. I don't like the new playoff format, and would much rather see the Kings and Sharks face each other in the WCF.
A month or so ago one of the Sharks forum mods came in here and told me I was full of it for asserting that the Sharks will never win with Thornton at the helm.
I rest my ****ing case.
The sooner he and Marleau are shown the door and Couture is given the C, the sooner they'll get that franchise back on track.

Good Series SJ. Much respect.... I think you guys should pick up Trots and dump TM.
