One for one? Can't be. We'll have to add, Pacioretty has only one year of term on his contract.
So, Molson thinks Habs fans are as patient as long suffering Leafs fans in that the Shanahan Rebuild Model will succeed in Montreal. Prepare for 5 more Stanley Cup-less years. If there is any truth to this, it is good news.
Apparently heard on a podcast from today.
If true, this is obviously the way we need to go. So THAT is good news. The fact that it’s Marc Bergevin and the country club calling the shots..well, that’s incredibly frightening for this Habs fan..
If we’re TRULY rebuilding, we need to start by rebuilding the management personnel first..
Domi trade certainly shot down the rebuild theory.
It's too insignificant to be, it's a lateral move because the coach didn't like Galchenyuk, that's all it is.Not really. He's under control for four years vs. two I think that's valuable in a rebuild isn't it?
Jack Eichel would love to have Patches as his left winger.Any reasons the Sabres would do it?
That's not a good reason enough.Jack Eichel would love to have Patches as his left winger.
This team should go down the drain now, no scoring ability. I guess full on rebuild is the only viable option now.

As Year 7 of his five-year plan kicks off, a secondary issue in the Domi-Galchenyuk trade - at least in Montreal - is @CanadiensMTL GM Marc Bergevin has long since squandered any benefit of doubt.

I would like to know which man or men behind the curtain told Friedman that he gave the orders to habs management to rebuild. Who is this mystery man?
Cmon, nobody talks to Friedman.. not a soul. What's in it for the source? Helping that *****e advance his gossip carrer?
One for one? Can't be. We'll have to add, Pacioretty has only one year of term on his contract.
People make a good living in gossip careers. All insiders are pretty much in the gossip business.
The problem with the rebuilding message is the terminology in itself. What it means to us may not necessarily mean the same to others.
Does is mean to dump key guys for picks and prospects? Or does it mean to reshape the room with with alot of new faces? It could be either
Edit: it does say through picks and prospects, actually, but the Domi deal is a mixed indicator.
Friedman said trade for picks and prospects. Which Domi isn't. With 8 goals from 23 year old bottom 6 winger? Not really. He's under control for four years vs. two I think that's valuable in a rebuild isn't it?
