Vancouver is Church's country. The problem with Church's is that it's always located in the worst part of town. Not the hipster gritty bad part but the part where you actually might get robbed in the drive thru. It's like the anti Chil-Fil-A, setting up shop where other fast food chains fear to tread.
Option 2. Mary Brown's is actually quite big here in Newfoundland but nothing beats KFC to me for chicken.
Chik-Fil-A is quite different, though. That's not "fried chicken" in the sense of bone-in drumsticks with biscuits and sweet tea. That's more like chicken sandwiches and battered tenders, which is a whole different thing. CFA compares more to a burger joint than to KFC.
serious question:
have you ever had a bone in burger before?
No, but I have seen a person put a bone-in pork chop in between slices of bread and eat it as a sandwich. To this day I am still trying to figure out what the **** that was about.
I'm pretty sure Big Mary Monday is a religious holiday here

I wish there was a Popeyes opening up here, but no such luck.
This is very true. Legit felt like I was about to get stabbed being the only whitey at the one in Durham a couple years back. That part of Durham is sketch as ****, but it's literally right inbetween hipster central and a pretty good part of the city in Grove Park. Literally as you're driving from Duke down 98 it goes campus, brightleaf, hipsters, sketchy, sketch af, tiendas, golf course
When traveling in an unfamiliar city, a good rule of thumb is to do a three-point turn when you see a Church's.
