Lundkvist is going to be a regular. Nill has said as much.
I believe they need 2 defensemen not 4. A right-shot defensemen to play with Lindell and a bottom pairing D for depth. That bottom pairing defensemen would serve as depth until Bitchsel is ready to assume a regular role.

My earlier comment about Lundkvist didn't age well. lol
I was going by the comments Nill made in a press conference just after the draft concluded.

That's not too surprising. Dallas must have been really scared of that arbitration number. If $1.8 was accurate, I'm curious to see how much they save.
