Eventually we will be getting to the tough part of the rebuild and seeing guys we have invested a lot in moved. But yeah I don't see that trade happening.

Scared of that Chandler and Lindholm contract.

Isn’t this guy really not reliable?

I find it hard to believe the leafs weren’t going to sign him for only a 500k difference in contract negotiations.

Think someone else called Bert to Chicago yesterday even so seems likely its happening.

Isn't Nashville moving on from Askarov because they decided to go all-in on Saros? How would a same age goalie prospect for goalie prospect fix that?

And not so sure I would trade Cossa for Askarov 1-for-1. How is a 17th overall pick from last year entering the discussion?

Haha. 4/6 is pretty impressive.

NYR and MTL next.
so it got me wondering if any player has ever played for all 6.

Google says....Victor Ivan Lynn is the only player in history to play for all 6 of the Original Six National Hockey league teams.

Am I the only one thinking Jack Campbell to Detroit seems likely?

Michigan connection. Vet reclamation project. Same strategy of last year of taking a swing with 3 guys hoping one turns into a home run while biding time waiting for Cossa

Guy who has 16M of career earnings is having a pretty good life after the career anyways, riskin or non-risking.

Now he did add 14M.
Definitely a good financial move for Bert.

But now I have to root against him, since he joined the hive of scum and villainy.
