Congrats on the big week, I'd like to see you guys do well.

Is there any hope for White to be a 40 point player again? Flames fans and the media shit all over Bennett, but all it took was playing him at Center with good linemates, and he's blossomed.

What do we need to do to put White in a position to succeed?

Could go down as the worst contract of the day. He was straight up terrible less than 18 months ago for Ottawa and this contract is 2mil to high and 2 years too long.

I think there's a player there. He's had a tough go with injuries over the past couple of seasons and never could find a role on the team. He has been used mostly as a C in Ottawa but I do think a move to the wing would do him good. I've had questions about him being a C going back to his AHL days and he hasn't relieved the concerns I had. In terms of role I don't know what he is be best suited for. He needs to have some reflection about what type of player he is and maybe the coaching staff in Florida can help guide him.

Other than the Gudbranson deal there's been almost no terrible deals given out today.

Flat cap is definitely having an impact.

Either on the wing with the big guys, or have him C a third line. He'll be good value for that contract. 40 points is quite attainable for him.
