I’m not advocating a trade for these players, or of the belief that either Pinto or Norris must be traded, but I’d wonder how much you watch Buffalo play if you think Tuch & Peterka are not good players. You can have good players playing for a bad team. I’m not following your “logic”.
I think a Stutzle , Cozens , Pinto could be excellent trio of centers as well. I like the workhorse from Whitehorse.

I didn't say they were bad, I'm saying they're not going to make us better if we flip Norris or Pinto or Batherson for them.
Cozens is too stylistically similar to Stutzle. He tries to do too much himself and doesn't use his linemates.
Exactly, Cozens produces more 5on5 than Norris due to easier matchups and playing in an unstructured run and gun system. But Norris producing on the special teams is still important especially on the PK. Both their underlying numbers aren't great, but Norris has to take extremely difficult defensive assignments versus cozens being given favourable deployment.

Siegenthaler and Hamilton are both injured. I do think a 2nd is an overpayment for Dumoulin, but I can see why Fitzgerald wants another stay at home D, especially as they give more ice time to LHughes. They've got loads of picks and need to start getting their roster some playoff experience
