Nobody likes Chabot lolol.O thought you liked Chabot?
It's not that bad I promise.Yikes
You do know that Cayden Lindstrom's entire career is in doubt right? And that Sillinger is a bottom 6 player on a good team? It's not that bad I promise.
I call it scrolling past most of the dumb shit.Does this site keep like snapping to the bottom of the page? It’s become borderline unusable
If Staios claims Tony D, he has zero regard for character and team chemistry. You have to be smoking the good stuff to take a chance on a guy who's burned as many bridges as Tony D, including the flipping KHL
I’ve heard he’s a fine teammate if you are white. If Staios claims Tony D, he has zero regard for character and team chemistry. You have to be smoking the good stuff to take a chance on a guy who's burned as many bridges as Tony D, including the flipping KHL
Why didn't the update give us a puke reaction? To Ottawa:

DeAngelo sign with the Ilslanders todayOur entire backend is hurt, we can't score goals, and DeAngelo was almost as dominant in the KHL as Adam Gaudette was in the AHL
If they don't claim DeAngelo, he must be incredibly annoying in person.
"Great chemistry"??!!It’s just how much of a chance do you want to take on Miller who seems like he comes with some baggage and to upgrade Milker over Norris, Milker is the better player but I don’t know chemistry, term wise, age it’s worth it.
Ottawa needs Norris AND Milker not one or the other, so it’s an improvement but not sure if I roll the dice on Miller when he has recurring issues. Ottawa doesn’t have enoguh offense but they have great chemistry, Miller would completely change the locker room not sure it’s the best idea
"Great chemistry"??!!
They are 5 - 7 in 2025. Been outscored 31 - 22, and shut out 5 times...
What f***ing chemistry??!!!!!!
Norris out, Miller in only - ONLY - makes this team better.
And just to clarify, I'm not a big fan of Miller. But holy shit in a handbag, I hope Staios isn't predicating trades on "feelings" at this point.
That’s just more soft. Too soft. I mean Norris isn’t a dawg or anything. It for that package we need someone who will dominate even when games get violent.Norris + Amadii + Yak for Petterson + Vancouver 1st top 10 protected

If you sign him, it's a one year deal and you basically tell him one transgression and it's off the Belleville, so it's in his best interest to just keep his head down and play hockey. If Staios claims Tony D, he has zero regard for character and team chemistry. The biggest issue I have with this is that you consider Norris a member of the core group. The only reason Miller is available is because of “feelings” why else would a guy who got 103 points last year and had Vancouver on the edge of something special would be available? don’t discount the importance of chemistry and the commitment this group of players has made to win together, miller in yes, just not at the expense of any of the core guys so I wouldn’t include Norris, Greig, Kleven, Pinto, Batherson in a trade
For a team that's done mostly nothing but lose over the years, the resistance to major change in general sometimes is a bit perplexing. They've never had a successful season together yet. Doesn't mean you go out and make a bad deal, but seriously, basically anyone should be on the table and any emotional attachment amongst the players should be ignored imo.EXACTLY
The country club ruling the team has to end at some point
Chabot and Tkatchuk ask Dorion for help
They got some good players to help and it didn't amount to squat
Andlauer must be so delighted to pay a guy 8mm$ for 27 points (Norris) lol
There are 46 players with .95 PPG + in the league
None is a Sens
Chabot is the 17th highest salary for a D and is 59th in PPG for D
Pinto is 275th salary 315th in PPG
I mean its all fun and all to underperform but at some point maybe it would be fun for them to finally make the PO
I don't think it's realistic to call a guy that can score 30+ goals for you, win draws, and play a two way game is an anchor, he's overpaid sure, but he's still a useful player, this isn't Zaitsev,The biggest issue I have with this is that you consider Norris a member of the core group.
So obvious that he is an anchor.
I agree, he is good. Just not good enough to warrant the contract and that is what makes him an anchor. At $6M/yr I'd be happy to keep him (on the wing, getting kicked out of 40% of faceoffs and winning half those he stays in for). But guys like Norris, with contracts like his are what will prevent this team from going to the next level.I don't think it's realistic to call a guy that can score 30+ goals for you, win draws, and play a two way game is an anchor, he's overpaid sure, but he's still a useful player, this isn't Zaitsev,
Is he a core player? Not unless he bounces back and gives us more offense, but with how fast the cap seems to be going up I don't see his contact being a big deal moving forward if he can give us 30g and 50+ pts.
Trade him if the right deal is available, keep him if it isn't, the last thing we should do imo is rush to get out of his deal just for the sake of change.
