Too bad about Tanev if true. I was hoping he preferred Canada in general given his history and wouldn't want to stay down in the bible belt. Seemed like Vancouver was out of the mix with Hronek and now apparently Zadorov being their priorities, plus lots up front to resolve.

Definitely need to resolve the goaltending, so similar disappointment about Markstrom.

Maybe? He's better (but older) than Ullmark, who I'm willing to trade our 25th overall for.

That is a ridiculous return for Markstrom, especially with his NTC.

I wanted Kevin Bahl. #truckulance.

Bahl is a physical bottom pairing D who has many RFA years left. NJD traded from a position of strength since they have a surplus of D. Still, giving up Bahl and a 1st is a big return.

The goalie market is going to be bananas.

Probably, but Bahl has proven more at the NHL level.
