I see what you’re saying. I wasn’t very clear in what I said - I should have used more precise language. What I meant was if he gets a season ending injury, it will be impossible to move him at any point in the future. I realize now “blowing up” was vague.

Where are you seeing that JT Miller wants out?
 
Guys seemed somber tonight. I figured it might be due to the trade rumours, but then as I walked through the corridor I saw that the autograph lines were thousands deep and they only gave them one bottle of Dasani. Gaudette was chipper though.

We have an irresponsible fanbase, tiring out the players in the middle of a losing streak. I'm glad that I decided not to have my Ceci jersey signed, but it was awkward to go through a big line only to nod at each player with nothing to give them.

I'm getting too many people coming up to me when I am at games now, so I am going to have to go incognito now and wear a Phaneuf jersey or something.

And is very effective in the F/O dot and PK. Who'a going to fill those roles and make up his production 5v5?

That feels like a Duchene v2.0 move. Might just shatter the room completely.
 
He has a NMC. I highly doubt he would want to come to Ottawa. I could see something like Miller for Kreider, but Kreider as a base probably has Vancouver on his list.

Maybe something like Miller, and Hoglander for Kreider, Kakko as a base, and then NYR send VAN picks and prospects to compensate for the downgrade.

Unless they want futures, in which case the return is probably something really polite like a late 1st, a team's fourth best prospect, and maybe a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Players with NMCs, even great ones, rarely get big returns unless they really play ball.

So you're good with this? Just keep running out the same core group? Hope that "something" changes and they go on a streak? Just curious.
 
If the Sens can’t put together a winning streak then they aren’t worthy of being in the playoffs. Ottawa sports franchises are cursed!
