Dorofeyev (offer sheet) or Peterka (trade) would be my ideal targets at this point.
Whitecloud or Karlsson would be my D targets depending on how the winger situation plays out, and what expendable assets we have remaining.

So it looks like Tippett (and Konecny) may be available because they have an abundance of wingers.
They are mostly dangling them for a Center though.

Not sure if they'd settle for 25th and/or Henlser or that kinda thing.

25 OA
2029 1st (lets value it as though it's 26 OA)
2027 2nd rd pick, (lets put it at at 45, mid round)

what kind of value does that hold? Basically a top 10 pick.

Now, because some of the picks are future years, their value is a bit more difficult to judge, this years picks might be less valuable than next years if the draft class is better, but teams value getting it now rather than in two years. But the point remains, that's a lot of remaining value. It's not nothing. It's actually pretty similar value to what it took to get Eklund



EDIT: Decided some might think I'm being too generous with where I put the picks, so here's the absolute worst case with the assumption that Florida wins the presidents trophy in 2027 and the Stanley cup in 2029 giving us 25oa, 32oa (2029) and 64oa (2027)

Drops the value of our remaining Tkachuk return (not including the two prospects from SJ) as 13oa.

We also have whoever we pick at 32 that we could flip before the start of the season, our 1st in 2027, our 2nd in 2027 ect.

I think you are under-valuing the 2029 1st Florida pick. Mid-round looks more likely to me; not sure if it is a lottery pick or not.

There's no telling that far in the future, I'm trying to be somewhat conservative in my estimates, but there's also the somewhat hard to pin down value of having a pick now vs in 3 years (or 4 if the clause kicks in and it's deferred).

The team is going to have to add some meat to the roster. Not a thug, but a player that can handle things. Up front or on the blue line. You guys have suggested Cozens on the wing and Pinto as 2C. If the team did this it would open up the options a bit. C, R/LW or RD.
