No. He signed a 1 year deal. 1 year deals, even under the old rules, are not 35+ contracts.

you still need to find a rw then to play in your top 9. right now the projected lineup for forwards is bad. you can spin it however you want but it is not a good lineup and they have very little cap space to make it all fit
