Same narrative - you can criticize the guy all you want (and obviously you do) for the decisions he makes but this idea that he's lazy or doesn't care about the Bruins enough to work hard is lame.

that's a pretty reasonable expectation especially with retention. The Edmonton pics are also going to be late ones and Frederic will be surrounded by much better talent so maybe he'll get going again.

I hate seeing a player who had 40 points last year get traded for picks and a prospect. Sweeney has been relatively good trading for free agents but lousy in terms of drafting. What are the odds either Edmonton pick sees any NHL ice time?

I guess Max Wanner is Sweeney's payback for taking Alec Regula .... I like getting rid of Max Jones and his one way contract for next year but Steve LaChance (BU) seems like the kind of guy that the Bruins cherish.

He's a good player when your team is slotted where they belong. Unfortunately there is at least a guy on every line playing above where they should be here, I'm sure he'll do a lot better in Edmonton where there is less pressure for a guy like him to bring offense.

One way contracts are meaningless except for Jacobs out of pocket. Not a cap concern as long in minors and under cba amount. 1.15 M

A black mark with Max Wanner was that he, along with 4 players, was suspended 44 games when he was in the WHL. Lankovic was one of the 4 players, and he could potentially be an option as the Bruins 1st round pick this year. There is no word on what they did to warrant 44 games.
