Frattin's Play Since Returning

I've always mainted Frattin has the David jones esque game and still do. Give him time, he's clearly hurting. For those who don't know about David Jones of the avs, ask any avs fan, he's a good guy, sniper on the wings and uses his body efficiently.

I keep seeing Stumpy Thomas, when i see Frats.

And i see the same horrid fate, if we trade him away.

If the deal is right, we might move him. Say for a budding center like Couturier? I'd be all for it because IMO the skillset Sean offers is much more of that of Frattin. However if it were upto me I'd move Mac, although to be fair mac has improved a ton since his time with wilson.

I think he'll be a good third line sniping guy who can step up when the second line center needs a mix.

I could live with using Frat to find JVR/Kess a more suitable C.

Under the right conditions tho, i do see Frat as a 30/30 guy.

I think he is still playing a bit hurt. Not much trade value so no basis to move unless a club really has a hard on for him. He would end up being a throw in on a Couturier deal which may be fine, or it may be a huge mistake. If the start to this season is his real upside I wouldn't deal him for Couts even up. They have less proven assets for to trade that would have equal value.

Ive postponed my interest in finding a center because I think Weiss is an almost guaranteed Ufa signing. With kessel I'm thinking 70 points.

Toronto boy, brings leadership and two way ability, and is underrated offensively. I know fletcher has wanted him in the past.

Lupul kadri Kulemin
Jvr Weiss Kessel

You seem it here 1st ;)

Also, I'd love to get our hands on Erik Johnson (my guess is caryle thinks the same way too) 6'5 225lbs +, righty. At the age where big defenseman come into their own (pronger ex) i'd be ok with moving gardiner in a package for him.

Lupul kadri Kulemin
Jvr Weiss kessel
Mac bozak/Grabo frattin
Komarov McClemment mclaren/Orr

Phaneuf Johnson
Reilly/liles/Gunnar/O'byrne
Franson fraser

Reimer
Scrivens

Frattin will be fine.

He's coming of an injury, still trying to find his timing and a place in a lineup that's established other pieces of chemistry.

Another thing to consider apart from having played with Kadri, is that Frattin's shooting percentage was astronimcally high. Wasn't he approaching 50%?

I think he'll begin to emerge closer to a middling form from where he was and where he should be soon.
