Guy pretty much seems like a bottom 6 lock within a year or 2. This team needs a lot of help to get back to the playoffs but you need 6 guys to play on the bottom 2 lines and if he can be penciled in long term, one less guy to worry about figuring out a plan for.

Really hoping he can be more of a middle 6 guy instead of a bottom 6. Most likely a 3rd liner, but hopefully one who can put up 35-45 points, as opposed to the 15-20 point range

I have a pretty strong dislike for the middle 6 term so i just dont use it. Just means he could be a bad 2nd liner. I think he could be a very good bottom 6 forward.

Really like that he was the captain for team canada at the u20 WJC, i always think that says something

So is the plan is for him to play in Boston or is he being seasoned with Poitras in Providence?
I'd imagine they'd want him in Boston for a bit. They've got plenty of room on the roster, it'd be good to see him against NHL talent and in the system, and it'd be a better welcome to the organization than staying in a scenic downtown Providence hotel.
