Guy pretty much seems like a bottom 6 lock within a year or 2. This team needs a lot of help to get back to the playoffs but you need 6 guys to play on the bottom 2 lines and if he can be penciled in long term, one less guy to worry about figuring out a plan for.
Really hoping he can be more of a middle 6 guy instead of a bottom 6. Most likely a 3rd liner, but hopefully one who can put up 35-45 points, as opposed to the 15-20 point range
What's the delay on seeing him in Boston?
Work visa? What's the delay on seeing him in Boston?
Should be cleared up on Monday hopefully.Something about his visa
He was supposed to play for the Marlies on Friday against Providence but then the trade happened. What's the delay on seeing him in Boston?
Thanks Dom!He was supposed to play for the Marlies on Friday against Providence but then the trade happened.
He couldn't walk across the hall and play for Providence because of the visa.
He is also not playing for them tonight because of that same visa.
I'd imagine they'd want him in Boston for a bit. They've got plenty of room on the roster, it'd be good to see him against NHL talent and in the system, and it'd be a better welcome to the organization than staying in a scenic downtown Providence hotel. So is the plan is for him to play in Boston or is he being seasoned with Poitras in Providence?
