Prospect Info: Frank Vatrano

Informative, didn't know about any of this.

According to Wikipedia, which is probably where I got the info in the first place, I'm basically right.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waivers_(NHL)

From what I read there (which may or may not be accurate; it's Wikipedia), Talbot wouldn't have a cap hit if he were in Providence.

Back on topic, I'm a bit surprised that Vatrano isn't called up, but I guess Marchand hasn't gone on IR and is progressing well, which is probably better for the team (and, of course, for Marchand.). I'd love for Frankie to come up, and I thought he had a really good camp.

It's good they are leaving him down there. Two games doesn't make a player evaluation. Let him play instead of sitting. Glad they didn't recall him.

Has he played C with Koko on wing?? I noticed they were involved on 4PTS

If so, are they trying Koko on the wing to see if they can give him a look? or is it vice versa?

Agreed, he needs to play.

Thought we might see Vatrano for the TB matinee because he was hot, but in general it's better for him to be in PRO playing a lot of minutes.

Let him marinate. Just tell me he's better than Matt Fraser, another AHLer with a 'great shot'.

As much as I can see Vatrano turning into another Pavel Bure I'm tempering - my buds are at this game and telling me he's a player but raving on Koko; apparently Koko is playing the best my bud seen him and he's ripped him last month so I have to see for myself - got 3 games in November to go to

not sure. I thought the line was Vatrano Czarnik Koko

Maybe Koko is the Center now. Whatever the case is Vatrano is on fire out of the gates. We will need to see if he can sustain the momentum. Could be one of the first ones called up if the Bruins struggle scoring/a winger goes down in injury

This is what happens when you put Koko with some offensively gifted linemates I guess?

Im thinking he'd look pretty good on Spooner's left and Hayes can go back to his natural RW.
