Frank Seravalli leaving DailyFaceoff

I don't gain any value from anything he has to say. Not one of my favourites and if he never had another minute of air time I don't think I eould even notice.

He is probably pulling a Bill Clinton and purposely dying his hair silver to appear older, specifically because his entire claim to fame is being a rumor peddler. If he appears older, he seems to be more trustworthy, and hence his rumors have more weight behind them.
had a buddy who started going noticeably gray in college, could just be genetics.

Didn’t know that about slick Willie but have heard the same about other politicians before

One of my favorite memories of Frank is from last year’s playoffs, he went on about how the Oilers’ blue-collar fans are his kind of people. Something tells me that’s not quite true, Frank.

Hell, I knew someone in high school who was noticeably going gray already. He also wore hearing aids and looked kind of old in general (but that was through teenage eyes, in hindsight what I remember of his appearance, he probably just looked in his twenties or maybe early thirties).

People liked to get him to try to buy things like cigarettes and booze in the hopes that he looked old enough to not get his ID checked. It rarely worked.

I took a few years away from hockey for my mental wellbeing. (Canucks fan) From 2015 to around 2019. In 2014, Frank didn't exist. Then I come back to hockey and he's one of the big insider names. It was kinda strange

I assumed Daily Faceoff was Seravali's own company

Co-founder, I believe. Guess he's off to start another one.

Ruining the expansion drafts and, arguably worse, stealing Couture's retirement announcement recently.

The need to be first is a scourge on reporting these days, and Frank is king.

That's any so-called "insider", from Seravalli to Friedman to Dreger.

That "as reported by" is a badge of honour and they're all scrambling for it every day.
